Havertys Furniture is hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst (Mid-Level) to work from our Corporate office in Sandy Springs, GA. The Cybersecurity Analyst is a hands-on member of the the Information Security team, supporting the protection of enterprise systems, data, and users. This role focuses on security operations, incident response, compliance, and continous improvement of security controls across the organization.
Duties and responsibilities include monitoring and enhancing company's information security operations, governance and cybersecurity program pertaining to information confidentiality, integrity, and compliance requirements.

As a Cyber Security Analyst (mid-level) this is your opportunity to:
• Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts and incidents across the enterprise.
• Lead or support the full incident response lifecycle, including investigation, containment, remediation, and post-incident review.
• Maintain and tune security tools such as firewalls, WAF, SIEM, IDPS, and endpoint protection platforms.
• Support and maintain compliance with PCI DSS and SOX IT General Controls.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation through change management processes.
• Monitor database and system access to ensure data security and integrity.
• Coordinate third-party vendors, auditors, and internal teams as needed.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Deliver end-user security awareness training and briefings on emerging threats.
• Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience in information security or security operations.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience responding to and managing security incidents.
• Ability to analyze problems, research solutions, and document outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a PCI- or SOX-regulated environment.
• Familiarity with SIEM tuning, alert correlation, and endpoint detection tools.
• Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CRISC, or CEH.
• Experience working in an Agile or DevOps-oriented environment.
