Job Description
Join Havertys Team as the HRIS Director. In this strategic leadership role, you will report to the SVP, CHRO and lead the HRIS function, providing direction for HR technology and systems across the organization. You will be responsible for optimizing and evolving our HR systems to support business goals, enhance user experience, and ensure data integrity and compliance.

Pay: Compensation is commensurate with experience and is bonus and equity eligibility.
Schedule: In the office – Monday through Friday with 1 work from home day a week.
This is Your Opportunity to:
HR Information Systems
• Set strategy for HR technology, including systems, integrations, and data integrity across HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Benefits, Learning Management, Performance Management, Talent Management, and Reporting.
• Maintain and improve current systems while evaluating and recommending new technologies.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to develop systems and process roadmaps that support all stakeholders.
• Optimize HRIS systems to support workforce growth and reduce manual processes through automation.
• Partner with IT on security roles, integrations, and shared systems.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from end users to executives.
• Monitor HR technology trends to anticipate future needs and solutions.
• Develop and manage service level agreements, control standards, and escalation protocols.
• Ensure consistent data governance across HR and the broader organization.
Strategic Leadership
• Lead and develop the HRIS team, fostering growth and knowledge sharing.
• Partner cross-functionally to align HRIS strategy with company goals.
• Monitor industry best practices and promote Havertys’ strengths as a competitive advantage.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee consultants.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, information technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a similar HRIS role, including implementation of new technology.
• 3–5 years of experience with SAP SuccessFactors preferred.
• 5+ years of experience leading direct reports and managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Creative problem-solver with a team-oriented, solutions-focused mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and execute in a dynamic environment.
Work Environment:
- Clean, professional corporate office environment located at 780 Johnson Ferry Rd. SE near Sandy Springs/Dunwoody, GA.
- Work on-site Monday through Friday, with the flexibility of one remote workday per week.
Physical Demands:
- This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods, frequent use of a computer and phone, visual acuity for reading screens and printed materials, and proficiency with computer accessories. Clear verbal and written communication is essential.
