Job Summary: 


The IT Security Manager will be at the forefront of our defensive operations, managing a team of cybersecurity professionals to protect our digital assets from internal and external threats. With a focus on strategy, technology, and policy, you will lead efforts to fortify our defenses, respond to incidents, and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the company's cybersecurity strategy, policies, and procedures.  
  • Lead security assessments and audits, and coordinate remediation efforts across all departments. 
  • Leading patch management systems and resolution efforts to address vulnerabilities promptly. 
  • Overseeing the maintenance and optimization of IT Security Appliances (Firewall, XDR, Proxy, WAF, Network Access Control, IDPS, and SIEM tools). 
  • Performing in-depth risk and vulnerability assessments for IT systems. 
  • Managed third-party security partner integrations.  
  • Ensuring compliance with PCI, SOX, and NIST standards. 
  • Foster a culture of security awareness within the company through continuous training and education.  

Job Requirements

 

You Must Have: 

  • Bachelor’s Information Security, or a related field is required. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. 
  • Proficient in incident response, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessment. 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team of security professionals. 
  • Proven experience with network penetration testing and an understanding of cybersecurity principles, including firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS. 
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH preferred. 
  • Deep understanding of information security principles and frameworks (e.g., NIST, PCI, SOX). 
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, ideally with a focus on automation.  
  • Strong written skills, particularly in creating technical documentation.
  • A proven ability to learn quickly and deliver results. 
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH preferred.
