Join Havertys Information Technology Support Team as a Systems Support Specialist, working in a collaborative team environment supporting a variety of key hardware and applications for Havertys retail, corporate, and warehousing. Pay: : $50k to $55k annually 

Schedule: 4 days in-office and 1 remote day after training period. Weekend Shift Rotation 2 weekends out of a 6 week rotation (weekend shift rotations are remote)

This is your Opportunity to: 

  • Learn Havertys retail software and hardware troubleshooting in a team environment 
  • Troubleshoot communication problems and work directly with communications vendors 
  • Use ServiceNow to prioritize and work tickets from team members throughout the company 
  • Assist in training via bulletins, webinars, and internal training classes 
  • Showcase your problem-solving skills for issues that really can impact our business

Job Requirements


Qualifications: 

  • Ability to learn quickly on a variety of topics. 
  • Good interpersonal skills.. 
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask within a ticketing environment 
  • Ability to work in a team environment. 
  • Flexible hours and weekend availability to support our retail business. 
  • Proven track record of getting results and being a fast learner. 
  • Prior Help Desk experience. 
  •  Prior Retail, distribution, warehousing experience. 

 

Work Environment: 

  • 3-4 days at Havertys' home office located at, 780 Johnson Ferry Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30342, and 1-2 days remote after training.  
  • Weekend shift rotation, one weekend every 6 weeks remote. 

 

Physical Demands: 

  • The position requires the ability to sit for extended periods and frequent use of a computer and phone, visual acuity to read detailed information on screens and printed materials, proficiency to operate keyboards, mice, and other computer accessories, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and written.
